Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Design Lead to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing design solutions, overseeing system architecture development, and producing high-quality contract engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design solutions, overseeing system architecture development, product design, and the production of contract engineering deliverables.
  • Direct and optimize interfaces and trade-offs between systems, subsystems, and functions.
  • Lead the development of technical solutions in response to customer requirements, from initial concepts to in-life support.
  • Develop, build, test, and trial innovative solutions.
  • Create high-quality design documentation.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering. Possess the ability and drive to think from a systems perspective as defined by INCOSE.
  • Skilled in creating and managing interfaces, specifications, and certificates, producing boundary views, and identifying ownership across the System of Interest (SoI), Wider Systems of Interest (WSoI), and its environment.
  • Expertise across the engineering lifecycle V-Model, including initial concepts, requirements, design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, maintenance, and supportability.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in system concepts and lifecycle selection, addressing system capability issues, understanding the enterprise and technology environment, architectural design, concept generation, and functional analysis.

Security Clearance:

For security clearance reasons, you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
