Product Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our NPD, Materials and Sustainability teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products comply with current standards and regulations across various product categories, including Electrical, Medical Devices, and Bathroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a robust process for managing product compliance.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with test and certification partners to ensure successful execution of compliance test programs.
  3. Organize and facilitate certification-related internal and external audits, working with all business functions to ensure successful outcomes and ongoing compliance with requirements.
  4. Identify upcoming global regulatory changes and notify the business.
  5. Conduct tests and studies into the company's product compliance.
  6. Review manuals, data/safety labelling for products to ensure they meet applicable certification requirements.
  7. Work with the supply chain to collect crucial data for suppliers.
  8. Gather REACH and SVCH data.
  9. Improve Logistics and Risk Management knowledge and skills in the Logistics Strategy department.
  10. Organize CE, CA, and FDA marks and testing.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in product compliance.
  2. Previous experience of effectively managing a portfolio of product certifications, ideally in medical devices or lighting or bathroom.
  3. Excellent IT skills with competent use of Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel).
  4. The ability to delegate work in order to respond to daily queries within the business.
  5. The ability to build positive relationships with regulatory and certification bodies.
  6. Effective project management and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience with product testing and process analysis.
  8. Well-informed in current sustainability subjects and business environments.
  9. Some international travel will be required, visiting suppliers.
  10. Ownership - Take full responsibility for your work, performance, and conduct, acting with integrity, staying organized, and learning from feedback and mistakes.
  11. Responsive - React quickly and effectively to needs and feedback, prioritizing tasks with urgency, embracing change, and maintaining a proactive approach.
