About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Cubiq Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new wireless fire detection products, including panels, sensors, communication devices, and user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, integrate, document, and release new wireless fire detection products
  • Develop specifications for electronic products, assemblies, and components
  • Create schematic drawings and PCB layouts using Altium Designer CAD software
  • Plan and conduct tests to verify that products meet performance and reliability goals
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance by providing necessary documentation for third-party approval processes
  • Resolve design and component-related production issues and implement changes to optimize designs
  • Collaborate with project management teams to provide accurate estimates and scope of work for product development programs
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of embedded electronics design, supported by a recognized university degree
  • Ability to create complex circuit designs and schematic drawings using modern CAD tools
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electronic hardware design
  • Knowledge of RF design and associated regulatory standards
  • Good understanding of embedded software and automated test methods
