As a Loading Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for operating the Loading Shovel, organizing large bags and other materials within the yard, and ensuring the safe transportation of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the Loading Shovel: Safely operate the Loading Shovel to load and unload materials, ensuring that materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Yard Organization: Organize large bags and other materials within the yard, ensuring that they are stored in designated areas.
- Load Securing: Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or accidents during transport.
- Maintenance and Repair: Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the maintenance team immediately.
- Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other yard staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experienced Shovel Driver with a valid Loading Shovel License.
- Licenses: Valid Loading Shovel License essential; valid Telehandler license desirable.
- Attitude: Positive can-do attitude.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work within the yard as well as operate the Loading Shovel.
