Job Title: Employment Advisor

Job Description:

As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in guiding participants on their journey to employment, building strong, positive relationships with them, and helping them overcome barriers to work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of participants and provide tailored support to help them achieve their employment goals
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support participants in overcoming barriers to work and developing the skills that employers are looking for
  • Work with participants to create and update their CVs, covering letters, and speculative letters, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in the job market
  • Ensure all paper-based employability tools are in place and up-to-date, providing participants with a comprehensive support package

  • Competitive salary range of £26,500 - £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
  • A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations
  • Basic knowledge of self-employment
  • Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
