Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control, to ensure efficient and cost-effective food production.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other restaurant leaders to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, food costs, and other kitchen expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of menu development, food costing, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
