About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of parking enforcement in Central Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement, issuing Penalty Charge Notices in appropriate cases.
  • Process PCNs and issue permits in accordance with relevant legislation and Civil Parking Enforcement practices and procedures.
  • Be conversant with Road Traffic Law, Traffic Regulation Orders, and relevant legislation.
  • Work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, on a rolling 8-week rota, with weekend working and flexibility subject to business needs.
Requirements
  • Fluency in the English Language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
