Due to their impressive order book, they are now looking to expand their team in the Estimating Department.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Estimator to play a key role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates, liaising with architects and clients, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and the production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for restoration and new build projects
  • Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements and quantities
  • Conduct site and client visits to gather necessary information for cost estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure estimates are in line with surveyors' take-offs
  • Report to the Sales Director and work closely with the Contracts Director and Production Team to ensure effective handover of projects
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a surveyor or estimator in the construction and restoration sector
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Proficient in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
