About the Role

As a Design Engineer at Expleo, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to address manufacturing challenges. You'll be responsible for analyzing design issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective remedies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough design analyses to identify root causes of non-conformances within the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and propose cost-effective design solutions to mitigate manufacturing issues, ensuring alignment with Safran MRB methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, suppliers, and assembly lines to implement approved concessions and optimize production workflows.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Effectively escalate critical issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize operational disruptions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CATIA V5 software.
  • In-depth understanding of Safran MRB processes and procedures, coupled with specific product knowledge.
  • Experience in automating tasks and managing concessions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid grasp of material properties, manufacturing methods, and industry best practices.
