About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our care home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the care home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care.
  • Ensure that the care home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
  • Manage the care home's budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
  • Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the care home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the care home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of managing a residential care home.
  • A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding.
  • Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
  • Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
