About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at First Milk's Lake District Creamery. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet legislative requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with GMP, procedures, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager, Quality Systems Manager, and Technical Manager to drive quality and safety improvements across the site.
  • Train and develop site colleagues in testing methods, CCPs, technical protocols, and staff competency assessments.
  • Compile and issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
  • A Level 2 HACCP qualification.
  • An Internal Audit qualification.
