About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Wren Kitchens. As an integral part of our finance department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review daily key reports to identify areas outside of tolerance and take corrective action to ensure financial stability.
- Produce weekly manufacturing and transport packs to facilitate efficient operations.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial commentary on volumes, manufacturing and material variance, fixed costs, and site margin.
- Analyze weekly MUV/PPV/MPV data to inform business decisions.
- Conduct direct and indirect labor analysis to optimize resource allocation.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain site and transport fixed asset registers.
- Calculate product costs and track cost variances to inform pricing strategies.
- Support the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced accountant with a strong background in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience with a recognized ERP system (preferably IFS).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing role.
- Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate financial information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and challenging the status quo.
