We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Woodside Farm, a 5-bedded home located in South Ayrshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a positive, respectful, and empowering way with all young people to promote good relationships and encourage achievements.
- Participate in and encourage the participation of young people in domestic tasks to develop self-care skills.
- Write review reports, risk assessments, and contribute to care plans.
- Liaise with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best interests of young people are respected and promoted.
- Good understanding of developmental needs and milestones of young people.
- Experience of working with children and families.
- Driving license essential.
- Ability to communicate, engage, and form positive relationships with young people, parents, and other professionals.
- Ability to produce clear and concise written reports and records of good standard.

In addition, we offer a competitive salary, free PVG check, pension scheme, and paid induction.
Due to the nature of the role, all Residential Childcare Workers will be subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check by Disclosure Scotland and achieve membership of the scheme prior to commencing work with us. CareTech will cover the cost of this check.
