Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading aerospace business. With a focus on innovation, performance, and integrity, our client has a solid reputation in the aerospace industry for providing a range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators, and airframe manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out site repairs and modifications on mechanical plant equipment
  • Undertake mechanical tasks such as fault finding, machine strip downs, and rebuilds, as well as planned and preventive maintenance
  • Perform electrical tasks including programming temperature PID controllers, creating risk assessments, and accurately recording maintenance activities
  • Work with sub-contractors to assist with maintenance, repairs, and modifications to plant and equipment
  • Assist with the control, ordering, and replenishment of spare parts and components
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a maintenance or repairs engineer role
  • Mechanical experience of maintaining plant equipment
  • Experience undertaking general fabrication work (mechanical and electrical)
  • Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical technical drawings
  • Proven ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Engineering HNC/HND qualification or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
