Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize transportation programs to maximize volume and economic efficiency.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on planned solutions to program changes, overseeing daily and weekly programs, including Out of Hours works.
  • Support fleet, transportation planners, and weighbridge staff to ensure high vehicle utilization and low haulier queries.
  • Ensure high levels of service and communication for internal and external customers.
  • Cost-effectively distribute Tarmac's products to external and internal customers.
  • Manage material service levels through detailed pre-planning of programmed works and regular communication with strategic customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in transportation planning and communication with drivers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to build working relationships with customers.
  • Experience in planning programs of work.
