Assistant Contract Manager

AWE is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Contract Manager to support the delivery of post-contract management of critical contracts with the supply chain, driving value for money and mitigating commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Contract Manager in the delivery of post-contract management of critical contracts with the supply chain.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance against customer, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Deliver effective administration of assigned contracts, ensuring robust live Contract Management Plans.
  • Support the team in the production of commercial reports, collating data from multiple sources and sharing in a defined format.
  • Support the commercial alignment of scope with service contract provisions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with contract management and strong administrative and data skills.
  • Understanding of public procurement contract regulations.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), currently training or willing to train to achieve CIPS.
