Company Overview:

TM Green Group is a leading construction company seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Manager to join their team for a landmark construction project.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on a high-profile construction site.

  • Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors on health and safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports.
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors on health and safety best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on health and safety performance.
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Experience working with main contractors is highly desirable.
