Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety and environmental compliance across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on the latest health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, including reporting and investigation.
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
