Job Overview: Carrington West is assisting a local authority client with their search for Senior/Principal Town Planning Officers to work on a caseload of complex minor applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the planning applications team on a caseload of complex minor applications.
- Contribute to the development of planning strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on planning matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in town planning, preferably in a local authority setting.
- Strong knowledge of planning policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions: Flexible working, likely to be predominantly remote but will require going to the office for training, meetings, and, if necessary, site visits.
IT Support: IT will be provided.
Salary: Carrington West is willing to offer a competitive hourly rate for this position.
