Anaesthetic and Recovery Theatre Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Anaesthetic and Recovery Theatre Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This role involves working within a dynamic surgical team, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the Anaesthetic and Recovery Theatre team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality peri-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care programs for both adult and paediatric patients.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to promote comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize medical equipment proficiently in accordance with established protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the training of new staff and learners.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to enhance clinical practice.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current registration as a practitioner (RGN or ODP) with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience in anaesthesia and recovery, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Desirable teaching and assessing skills, along with experience in paediatric care.
Work Schedule:
This position requires flexibility, with a commitment to working 37.5 hours across 4 or 5 days within a 6-day week, including on-call duties as necessary.
