Strive Supply Chain LLP is a leading privately owned business with a strong presence in the supply chain industry. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the management of our complex warehouse, retail outlets, and residential portfolio.
The Facilities Manager role will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Service Provider Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with facilities and maintenance service providers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Facilities Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of facilities management across 200+ retail stores, Head Office, Warehouse sites, and 100+ residential properties, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and duties.
- Asset Management: Manage fixed assets registers, plan and execute preventive maintenance, and contribute to the annual budgeting process for facilities costs.
- Property Review and Reporting: Conduct regular reviews of property assets and retail stores across the UK, identifying areas for improvement and providing reports to management on required remedial action.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement standard operating procedures for facilities management and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance across the organization.
- Vacant Property Management: Manage vacant property assets, scheduling inspections and proposing risk management actions as needed.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to the Senior Leadership Team on facilities functions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in facilities management across multiple and varied sites.
- Full driving license and use of own vehicle.
