Job Description

Project Manager (TS/SCI with Polygraph Required)

Fluor Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of small to medium-sized projects or segments of larger projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management: Emphasize HSE throughout all phases of projects, establishing and managing project safety plans.
  2. Contract Management: Develop a complete understanding of Fluor's prime contract and relevant subcontracts, collaborating in the preparation of documents associated with project execution.
  3. Project Baseline Development: Prepare and deliver reports on project status, assessing requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, and productivity.
  4. Execution and Compliance: Ensure execution of all project aspects in accordance with contractual obligations, Fluor's OSR, and relevant OSIP.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience: Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field, with four years of work-related experience or a combination of education and experience equal to eight years if non-degreed.
  2. Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  3. Knowledge and Compliance: Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  4. Travel and Knowledge Management: Ability to travel on occasional business trips and utilize Knowledge Management processes to capture, support, and leverage relevant knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Engineering or Business Field of Study: Typically degreed, preferably in engineering or business, with minimum four years of O&M office or site experience and minimum one year of experience managing small, less complex O&M sites or projects.
  2. Project Management Experience: Previous project management experience is highly desirable.
