Job Title: Senior Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our highly successful and supportive team. This is a permanent appointment that will be based in our off-site 78 place nursery.

About the Role

As a Senior Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the teacher in planning and delivering high-quality learning activities and play provision. You will work closely with the nursery team to ensure that our youngest learners achieve highly and receive the best possible start in life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering learning activities and play provision
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure that our youngest learners achieve highly
  • Have a good knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Be able to lead and support pupils in a large group
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be a caring and reflective practitioner who has excellent relationships with the children
  • Be able to provide valuable support to the teacher with planning and delivering learning activities and play provision
