Ant Yapi (UK) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety Advisor. This is an exciting new role and will be based in Chester. Experience in Construction is a must and we are looking to appoint a suitable candidate as soon as possible.
- **Develop and Implement Health and Safety Strategies:** Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies for a major construction project.
- **Risk Assessment and Compliance:** Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- **Health and Safety Expertise:** Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
- **Training and Development:** Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the health and safety awareness of staff, contractors, and residents.
- **Incident Investigation:** Investigate incidents and accidents, analysing root causes and recommending preventative measures.
- **Legislative Compliance:** Stay informed about changes in health and safety legislation and industry best practices, ensuring continuous improvement.
**The Ideal Candidate:**
- **Proven Experience:** Proven experience in health and safety management within the construction sector.
- **Recognised Qualification:** Recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.).
- **Industry Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- **Strategic Thinking:** Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies.
- **Results-Driven:** Proactive and results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
