Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Cheshire East Council. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized and person-centered care and support to individuals living in their own homes.

About the Role:
  • Provide support over a 24-hour period, focusing on maximizing people's independence, choice, and control.
  • Work in partnership with the individual, parents, and families, as well as a range of other services, to ensure that people's choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in how their service is provided.
  • Support individuals with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, administration of medication, and managing finances.
Requirements:
  • A positive approach and the right values to work with vulnerable individuals.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-in shifts.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.18-£12.38, with time and a half at weekends and double pay on Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
