Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at McLaren Racing. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Occupational Health Service that includes new starter screening, health surveillance, immunizations, and annual wellness screening.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to HR Managers and employees on health and wellbeing matters, including assessment, education, and management plans.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Wellbeing Team to design and deliver health promotion activities that enhance the overall wellbeing of our employees.
  • Promote high standards of health and safety amongst employees, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Assess and reduce clinical hazards and risks in the workplace, working closely with the MSK and mental health teams to develop effective wellness intervention programs.
  • Develop comprehensive client-centered objectives and plans for employees referred to the Occupational Health Service.
  • Assess employee fitness for work following long-term sickness absence or health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with the General Data Protection Act Regulations.
  • Coordinate clinical interventions and follow-up monitoring reviews.
  • Support the development and review of policies and standards related to clinical practice.
  • Develop, monitor, and audit clinical and non-clinical performance standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Health Service within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Health Specialist Nurse (Degree level or equivalent).
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
