About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical operations and maintenance of our facility, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong technical background in mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
  3. Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  4. Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve any mechanical issues.
  5. Preventive Maintenance: Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  7. Collaboration: Liaise with other departments and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the mechanical engineering sector.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building services.
  3. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  4. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  5. SSSTS or SMSTS: Possession of SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
