Senior Bookkeeper Opportunity

Reed is working with a well-established accountancy practice in the UK, seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to contribute to their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality bookkeeping services to clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and management accounts in a timely manner.
  • Produce year-end files, reconciled to trial balance, to meet client expectations.
  • Support team members with queries and provide guidance on bookkeeping practices.
  • Review and verify bookkeeping and returns produced by team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks is mandatory.
