About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Clinical Educator to join our team in the Cardio Respiratory Clinical Service Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in ensuring the development of clinical staff, both registered and unregistered, and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of clinical staff, including registered and unregistered nurses, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support the assessment of the quality of clinical and other practice learning environments and implement interventions for improvement.
  • Enhance the quality of care delivery from both the registered and unregistered workforce through engaging clinical teams to learn from incidents, audits, PALs, and complaints.
  • Deputise for the Lead Nurse for Quality and Governance during periods of absence or when delegated to do so.
  • Be clinically competent and maintain competence in all aspects of nursing care and disseminate specialist knowledge and skills through experience, education, and training.
