About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our nursing and midwifery staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs for nursing and midwifery staff, focusing on clinical skills and competencies.
  • Collaborate with senior management and clinical teams to identify learning needs and develop targeted education initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education and training programs.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Support the development of clinical practice assessors and key trainers.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Relevant teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Degree-level education in Nursing or evidence of working at that level.
  • Significant and recent relevant clinical experience.
  • Clinical experience within the speciality (essential).
