Job Title: Asset Management Engineer

Quintas Energy is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Asset Management Engineer. This role requires a strong background in large-scale solar industry, with a minimum of three years' experience in LV, HV, DC, and photovoltaic and BESS technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise O&M contractors, ensuring regular site visit reports are contrasted with O&M reports and back-office assessments.
  • Conduct regular site visits to identify breaches or defects, and propose changes.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to clients and QE line managers.
  • Participate in regular meetings with O&Ms, clients, and QE teams to ensure alignment of objectives and effective communication.
  • Provide technical support to QE Technical Asset Management team members, addressing their queries and reviewing the correct execution of works performed by O&Ms.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to implement H&S measures established by advisors.
  • Manage mandatory inspections of electrical installations required by authorities.
  • Liaise with contractors to follow up on completion of punch lists arising from contractual tests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Energy or Electrical Engineering, equivalent to 2:1 or higher.
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant field.
  • Five years minimum experience in the Renewable Energy sector, including site inspections (ideally PV and BESS).
  • Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Medium-High level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PPT.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays when required.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Fluency in the English language.

Regulations and Qualifications:
  • Electrical testing and inspection to C&G 2391-52 or equivalent.
  • BS7671 electrical regulations (18th edition).
  • High Voltage OP 40 / AP 15 or equivalent.
  • BSEN 62446.
  • IET good practice in grid connected photovoltaics 2015.
Health and Safety:
  • H&S knowledge within the operational renewables industry.
  • Professional HSE qualifications or recognitions (i.e. IOSH training or certification).
