About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Oxford. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting academic excellence and developing well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care to children in Key Stage 2, fostering teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths while improving weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability by introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing skills by creating engaging stories.
  • Monitor progress and report back to parents as necessary.

  • Our school is a 2-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Oxford.
  • We welcome early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms and prioritize academic excellence alongside pastoral care.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications (experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Oxford via public transport.
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Confidence to lead a class and manage behavior in line with school policies.
