About the Accounting Firm

Pentagon Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing accounting firm in Sussex to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant for their office in Brighton or Hove. Our client provides a comprehensive range of services, including accounting, advisory, payroll, taxation, auditing, and financial planning for various clients and sole-traders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Manager and team members as needed.
  • Create and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Manage the full payroll process from start to finish.
  • Process P45s and other payroll-related documents.
  • Liaise with clients from diverse industries, providing professional advice on queries.
  • Manage client pension schemes through multiple pension providers.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a payroll position, preferably in a bureau or practice firm.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel.
