Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is a key role within the Fixed Income and Access team at Citigroup Global Markets Limited. This position is responsible for overseeing and implementing marketing programs and major client events across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa cluster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Support in managing all aspects of client and prospect events, including invitation process, compliance reviews, logistics, on-site and virtual client interaction, budget maintenance, gift, venue, décor, and menu selection.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Use post-event feedback to determine best practices for future events, including researching and conducting competitive benchmarking.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with sponsorship organizations and other vendor partners to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
  • Event Website Management: Build and manage event websites, including uploading agendas, collecting headshots, biographies, and release forms.
  • Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant marketing and event planning experience within the financial services industry.
  • Marketing Expertise: In-person marketing experience is required, with a solid understanding of financial products and services.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strict and careful attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems in a challenging and time-constrained environment.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage priorities and multi-task.
  • Performance Metrics: Ability to pinpoint key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine if an event was successful.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and lead by example.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University Degree: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).
