About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Apprentice to join our Finance team in Cambridge. As an Accounts Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our global in-house Finance function.

You will work closely with various colleagues in the team, contributing to the processing of sales and purchase ledger tasks, including preparing and sending invoices, and liaising with clients regarding their payments. You will also assist with the processing of internal and recharged expenses, entering transactions into our financial software, and administering petty cash across multiple currencies held by the company.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through formal training, including the Level 3 AAT qualification, which will be provided by First Intuition. You will also receive on-the-job training and support from experienced members of our Finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with sales ledger tasks, including preparing and sending invoices, and liaising with clients regarding their payments
  • Supporting with purchase ledger tasks, such as processing supplier invoices and responding to payment enquiries
  • Assisting with the processing of internal and recharged expenses
  • Entering transactions into our financial software
  • Administering petty cash across multiple currencies held by the company
  • Providing ad-hoc financial administrative support to the wider company as needed

We offer a competitive salary of £22,500 per annum, a discretionary profit share bonus, and a range of benefits, including 25 days' annual leave, flexible working hours, and comprehensive travel insurance.
