About the Role

We Are With You is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Safeguarding Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice across our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on safeguarding issues
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective safeguarding practices
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker with a strong background in safeguarding and leadership. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and a passion for making a difference in people's lives.

Essential Criteria

  • Fully qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England
  • Experience of working in safeguarding and leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working in substance misuse services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
