We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Pontefract area for a Warehouse Team Leader position. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and take on a challenging role.

Job Duties:
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and creating work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure timely processing of distribution orders and production picklists.
  • Maintain a safe and productive warehouse environment, ensuring all staff are working efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting with clients and ensuring the warehouse meets their needs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate pickups and deliveries, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Handle paperwork, creating and maintaining records using a computer.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems.
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Diligence and meticulousness.
  • Professionalism.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the team to achieve this goal, and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.00-£14.00 DOE. You will also accrue holiday pay and be enrolled in an optional pension scheme.
