Yard Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview
As a Yard Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our outdoor areas.
This position requires early morning shifts, making it ideal for individuals who are comfortable with early starts, especially during colder months.
You will be provided with appropriate safety gear, including high-visibility vests, gloves, and warm hats. It is essential to have your own safety boots to protect your feet while performing your duties.
Your responsibilities will include preparing for deliveries, which involves:
- Transporting cages from delivery trucks to storage areas
- Unloading stock, with the heaviest items weighing up to 100kg
- Conducting thorough checks on all stock for quantities, temperatures, and any damages
- Organizing stock in designated areas, including frozen, chilled, and dry storage
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Restocking any shortages on the sales floor
- Breaking down empty cardboard boxes for recycling
- Maintaining cleanliness by emptying bins and compacting rubbish
- Cleaning any spills outside the premises
- Jet washing the yard and ensuring the overall cleanliness of your work area
