Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Bids Manager to join our Bids team, responsible for managing the production of practice group bids within our Finance & Projects Group. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with the Bids Manager and Bids Partners to lead opportunities, advise on bids best practice, and coordinate the firm's efforts during the bid process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project and bid management: overseeing the bids process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Input to our bid strategy: collaborating with the bids team to identify key themes and messages, and developing effective bid approaches.
  • Working closely with Bid Managers on larger bids: providing guidance and support to ensure successful bid outcomes.
  • Managing pre-qualification stages: qualifying opportunities, managing stakeholders, and producing complete responses.
  • Content management: maintaining and enhancing pre-written content, guides, and standard materials to expand and improve our automated content library.
  • Producing reports and analysis of bid activity: informing business decisions and driving continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to internal projects: improving bid information flow, analysis, and best practice within the firm.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in managing bids, providing advice on approach and strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Legal or other professional services sector experience.
  • Highly diligent with excellent attention to detail.
