Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a Materials Engineering Consultant - Plant Integrity Specialist, you will play a key role in working on cutting-edge Integrity Assessment projects with a high level of complexity for clients in the power and process industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-outage planning and management, including analysis of historical data to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Producing tailored risk-based inspection plans to ensure the integrity of power and process plants.
- Post-outage inspection management, including on-site inspections in the UK and abroad.
- Completing life assessments, fracture and fatigue analysis, and consulting with clients on report findings to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their facilities.
Requirements:
- Project Engineer, Materials Engineer, Metallurgist or similar experience in the power or process plant integrity and life assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.
