About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Decommissioning Estimator to join our team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying the inputs needed to develop a cost model for all estimates, tenders, and framework call-off submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Model Development: Create and facilitate the output of a commercial model by the finance team in line with governance guidelines.
  • Rate Card Creation: Develop rate cards for re-measurable contracts and elements.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with internal and external contacts to respond to technical and assurance requirements as needed.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with scoping and legislative and technical advice to develop prospects.
  • Tender Proposal Support: Assist with the completion of tender proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and develop relationships with internal contributors.
Requirements
  • Decommissioning Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of decommissioning technical knowledge.
  • Material Quantification: Ability to 'take off' material quantities for buildings and structures from drawings, site visits, and photographs.
  • Estimate Production: Production of estimates of the required resources and other associated cost elements to undertake decommissioning projects.
  • Numeracy and Spreadsheet Skills: High level of numeracy and spreadsheet skills.
  • Waste and Scrap Knowledge: Knowledge of waste and scrap types, market intelligence on recycling options, and disposal prices.
