Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Accountant to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our finance department, you will work closely with the Plant Manager to drive business growth and efficiency across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Plant Manager in developing and implementing financial forecasts and budgets for the site.
- Design and produce regular financial reports to inform business decisions and drive operational improvements.
- Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on key financial metrics, including production costs, stock variance, and headcount.
- Interpret data to identify areas for operational improvement and develop strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Provide financial support to the Supply Chain function, including analysis, P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience as a Manufacturing Accountant, Plant Controller, or Finance Business Partner in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of financial systems, including BOM, Routings, Production Costs, Inventory, PPV, and Labour costs.
- Proven track record of business partnering at a senior level, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred, but not essential if you have equivalent experience.
