About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior RF Test Engineer to become a vital member of our expanding Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS). This group comprises over 60 specialists in electronic warfare, including engineers, scientists, and former military personnel, all dedicated to enhancing operational capabilities and ensuring safety for personnel and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal RF Test Engineer at a cutting-edge test and evaluation facility.
  • Assist in planning and supporting both domestic and international trials.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation of software and hardware digital twin models.
  • Integrate, configure, and verify the performance of various components in a laboratory setting.
  • Generate test programs utilizing a range of testing equipment.
  • Conduct laboratory trials to validate asset performance within a synthetic testing environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries and relay customer feedback to relevant teams.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in creating test scripts/programs (e.g., LabView, Python, MATLAB).
  • Familiarity with synthetic testing environments.
  • Ability to operate entity models through GUIs with an understanding of mission objectives.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as Vector Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
  • A degree in a STEM field or extensive relevant experience with a strong technical aptitude.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) domain.
  • Experience in integrating and calibrating hardware and software models.
  • Ability to create laboratory procedures.
  • Experience managing both analog and digital interfaces between electronic components (RF).
  • Understanding of RF or Electro-Optical/Infrared (EOIR) systems and sensors.
  • Familiarity with version control for hardware and software components.
  • Experience working on agile projects.
