About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Test Engineer to become a pivotal member of our expanding Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS). This group consists of over 60 professionals with diverse backgrounds, including engineers, scientists, and former military personnel, all dedicated to enhancing operational capabilities and ensuring the safety of personnel and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Principal RF Test Engineer to plan and execute both domestic and international trials at a cutting-edge test and evaluation facility.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation of software and hardware digital twin models.
- Integrate, configure, and verify the performance of various components within a laboratory setting.
- Develop and implement test programs utilizing a range of testing equipment.
- Conduct laboratory trials to enable customers to validate asset performance in a synthetic testing environment.
- Act as the primary liaison for customer interactions, ensuring effective communication of requests and feedback to relevant teams.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating test scripts/programs (e.g., LabView, Python, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with synthetic testing environments.
- Ability to operate entity models through graphical user interfaces (GUIs) while understanding mission objectives.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as Vector Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
- A degree in a STEM field or extensive relevant experience with a strong technical aptitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) domain.
- Experience in integrating and calibrating hardware and software models in a laboratory context.
- Ability to create and document laboratory procedures.
- Experience managing both analog and digital interfaces between electronic components (RF).
- Understanding of RF or Electro-Optical/Infrared (EOIR) systems and sensors.
- Familiarity with version control for hardware and software components.
- Experience in agile project environments.
