About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Asset Technician to join our team at Anglian Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our water treatment works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets, including pumps, screens, mixers, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Work on water quality instruments and control systems, performing servicing and calibrations.
  • Develop and maintain a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain multiple complex water treatment assets and processes.
  • Participate in a standby rota, working at least one day per week, and receive additional standby payments.
  • Earn overtime payments for work conducted outside of regular hours.

Requirements
  • Completed an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 2, and relevant ONC/BTEC.
  • Ability to learn quickly and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in a standby rota.
