Mechanical Asset Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Asset Technician to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a Mechanical Asset Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our water treatment assets, ensuring the supply of clean and safe drinking water to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets, including pumps, screens, mixers, and chemical dosing systems.
- Work on water quality instruments and control systems, performing servicing and calibrations.
- Develop skills and knowledge to operate and maintain complex water treatment assets and processes.
- Participate in a standby rota, working at least one day per week, and receive additional standby payments.
- Earn overtime payments for work conducted outside of regular hours.

Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship and NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field.
- Relevant ONC/BTEC qualification.
- Ability to learn quickly and use initiative to solve problems.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in a standby rota.
