Job Summary:

A well-established and reputable organisation, Ashdown Group, is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager / Financial Accountant to oversee a busy ledger team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to join our team and contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a small finance / transactional team to ensure efficient processing of high volumes of transactions.
  • Oversee treasury management, cash flow, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and funding analysis / reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective financial systems and processes to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA) or Part-Qualified with proven experience in managing finance teams.
  • Strong Excel and accountancy systems skills, with experience with Access Finance highly advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
