Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Coordinator to ensure the delivery of high-quality Catering and Cleaning services to clients and customers within Fife Council.

This role covers Dunfermline and surrounding villages, working as part of a team covering West Fife Schools and Council Buildings.

The successful candidate will have a diverse and varied role, requiring excellent organisational skills and flexibility.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking induction training for new staff
  • Identifying development needs of employees and assisting with their training
  • Assisting with personnel matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with food service regulations
  • Working occasional functions and on-call weekend shifts

The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £31,179.34 - £38,950.71, plus benefits including:

  • A starting salary of £31,179.34 pro-rata, plus extra payments for shift work

This role is about ensuring the effective running and safe operations within schools and council buildings within Fife.

The Person

We are looking for someone with:

  • Significant post-qualification experience at supervisory level
  • Experience in both Catering & Cleaning and Food Production
  • Experience in staff management
  • Budgetary awareness, numeracy, and literacy skills
  • Ability to travel at short notice to other Fife Council establishments
  • Current, valid driving license

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
