Nights Female Security Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Female Security Officer to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reception duties, including meet and greet and access control
  • Maintenance of logbooks and registers
  • Providing passes to visitors and staff
  • Notifying appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals
  • Monitoring and controlling access and egress
  • Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
  • Dealing with visitors and their requests
  • Receiving and passing on mail deliveries
  • Assisting visitors with departures, including arranging taxis
  • Patrolling premises to prevent or detect signs of intrusion
  • Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances
  • Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees and visitors
  • Contacting emergency services as required
  • Checking alarm circuits and ensuring the alarm system is functioning properly
Requirements:
  • Current and valid SIA DS Licence in an appropriate sector
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Smart and professional appearance
  • Confidence in dealing with people
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Excellent computer literacy and understanding of the English language
