The Farmhouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our team of compassionate caregivers in providing exceptional support to vulnerable young people.

As the Registered Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and therapeutic environment where young individuals aged 7-18 can thrive. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding our staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a positive and supportive culture within The Farmhouse.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the residential care team, ensuring high-quality care is delivered consistently.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each young person in our care.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's well-being.
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and open communication.
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma, social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children's Act and Quality Care Standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of dedicated professionals.
